Chairperson's address: dignity at the service counter
By Office of the Chairperson
Speaking at Public Service Week, the Chairperson called for administrative justice to be measured by the experience of the most vulnerable citizen, not the average.
The Commission on Administrative Justice continues to strengthen the way public bodies serve citizens, with a focus on fairness, timeliness and openness across the public sector.
Speaking on the development, officials underscored that administrative justice is measured by the lived experience of citizens at the service counter — particularly the most vulnerable — and that data-driven oversight is central to that goal.
The Commission reiterated that members of the public can lodge complaints free of charge, in person at any of its eight offices, by telephone on the toll-free line, or online through this website. Each complaint is given a reference number and can be tracked end-to-end.
Stakeholders, civil society organisations and Ministries, Departments and Agencies are invited to engage with the Commission as it advances reforms that improve service delivery and uphold the constitutional right to fair administrative action.
